Ｃｌｉｎｏｔａnｙｐｕｓ

Body length 7.5〜８mm  Living body color light brownish orange. Both side of each body segment with fringe of swim-setae .Distributed widely in the country.. In Lake Biwa ,Clinotanypus sugiyamai inhabit widely.

With 5〜７teeth : Middle part constricted for about 1/2 its length . Tooth-row deeply concave.; outer tooth very large.  Paraligula slender spine with 2〜4 small accessory points  Pecten hypopharyngis with 30 or more teeth.		Dorsomental teeth consisting of 20 or more small points in 3 rows. Pseudoradula moderately densely granulose, narrowed between rows of dorsomental teeth.
